Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract optional

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Create a well in the center and pour in the wet ingredients.
  • Heat a non-stick griddle or pan over medium-high heat and lightly grease it with butter or non-stick spray.
  • Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the surface. Cook for about 2 minutes, until bubbles form on top. Flip and cook for another minute.
  • Plate your pancakes and top with syrup, fruit, or powdered sugar.

Notes

For extra richness, swap half the milk with heavy cream!
