Easy Orange Chocolate Chip Ricotta Cookies

whole milk ricotta cheese

mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
Glaze

powdered sugar

fresh orange juice
Instructions
Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt for 20 seconds, then set aside.
Cream together sugar, butter, and orange zest in an electric stand mixer until combined. Add egg, ricotta, and vanilla extract; blend well.
Mix in flour mixture until nearly combined, then add chocolate chips.
Cover and chill for 1 - 2 hours; preheat oven to 350°F during last 20 minutes.
Scoop dough onto parchment-lined baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart. Bake for 13 - 14 minutes until almost set.
Let cool, then transfer to wire rack. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, orange juice, and zest, spoon over cookies.

Store cookies in an airtight container.
